Анотація / Abstract

У методичних рекомендаціях описано методику молекулярно-генетичного аналізу поліморфізму g.10153G>A у гені SCD1 великої рогатої худоби. Показано ключову роль цього гена у формуванні цінних господарських ознак, зокрема як він впливає на профіль жирних кислот у молоці та м’ясі. Доведено, що виявлений поліморфізм є ефективним маркером для маркер-асоційованої селекції, що дає змогу відбирати тварин з бажаними якісними характеристиками продукції.
Розраховано на фахівців генетичних і біотехнологічних лабораторій, науковців, докторантів, аспірантів, а також викладачів та студентів біологічного й аграрного профілю.

The methodological guidelines describe the technique for molecular genetic analysis of the g.10153G>A polymorphism in the SCD1 gene of cattle. This gene plays a key role in the formation of valuable economic traits, particularly influencing the fatty acid profile in milk and meat. The identified polymorphism is an effective marker for marker-assisted selection, which allows for the selection of animals with desired qualitative characteristics of their products.
