Анотація / Abstract

У монографії висвітлено роль кукурудзи у світовому та вітчизняному агропромисловому виробництві; наведено біологічні особливості культури, показано вплив ґрунтів, світла, температури, вологи, поживних елементів на розвиток рослин кукурудзи. Викладено науково обґрунтовані рекомендації з технології вирощування кукурудзи. Узагальнено результати досліджень щодо технології виробництва високоякісного насіння батьківських компонентів і гібридів кукурудзи. Наведено економічне обґрунтування виробництва насіння і зерна кукурудзи.
Розраховано на наукових співробітників, студентів, аспірантів, викладачів навчальних закладів вищої освіти аграрного профілю, а також спеціалістів агропромислових формувань і фермерських господарств.

[The monograph highlights the role of maize in global and domestic production; the biological properties of the maize are presented; the influence of soil, light, temperature, moisture and nutrients on this crop is shown; the science-based recommendations on maize cultivation technology are described; the results of long-term investigations on the production technology of high-quality seeds of parental forms and maize hybrids are summarised; and the economic justification for the production of maize seeds and grain is provided.
