Анотація / Abstract

Найбільш доступними та повноцінними у харчуванні населення є білок і вітаміни, що містяться в яйцях курей, кількість яких дорівнює ікрі осетрових риб. Тому за поживністю, біологічною цінністю й відносно низькою вартістю яєчній продукції до цього часу альтернативи немає. Не менш біологічно повноцінним є м’ясо курей, а щодо витрат кормів та інших ресурсів у розрахунку на одиницю продукції воно не має аналогів. М’ясо птиці і яйця у більшості випадків є дієтичними продуктами, так необхідними для харчування дітей, людей похилого віку й хворих. Наведено інформацію про основні, поширені в Україні, породи, кроси і популяції яєчних та м’ясо-яєчних курей, технологічні параметри вирощування й утримання курей, основні види кормів, норми годівлі, ветеринарно-профілактичні заходи при утриманні птиці.
Призначено для студентів і викладачів навчальних закладів вищої освіти біологічного та сільськогосподарського профілю, до курсу «Школа прикладного птахівництва», для керівників та фахівців птахівницьких підприємств, власників фермерських і присадибних господарств.

[Protein and vitamins contained in chicken eggs are the most affordable and complete in the diet of the population, the amount of which is equal to sturgeon caviar. Therefore, in terms of nutrition, biological value and relatively low cost, egg products still have no alternative. Chicken meat is no less biologically complete, and it has no analogues in terms of feed and other resources per unit of production. It is also worth mentioning that poultry meat and eggs are, in most cases, dietary products that are an essential component of the diet of children, the elderly and the sick people. The manual contains information on the main breeds, crosses and populations of egg and meat and egg chickens common in Ukraine, technological parameters of rearing and keeping, main types of feed, feeding rates, veterinary and preventive measures for poultry keeping.
The manual is intended for students and teachers of higher education institutions of biological and agricultural profile, for the course «School of Applied Poultry Farming» for managers and specialists of poultry enterprises, owners of farms and households.]
